churches around North America choose this day to bring awareness to the enormous global Orphan Crisis.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">There are numerous ways that one can help those who wait for families <em>(at least 98 million, although the numbers have been tabulated into the 200 million range by some)<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">So many options:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">befriend a foster child, family or foster parent group in your community<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">give financially or in kind<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">sponsor children abroad<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">\u00a0help a family bring home their child<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">adopt a\u00a0child and give them a place to call their forever home<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">So many ways.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">One other way that is not often mentioned directly is all of the behind the scenes work of a secret army of tireless men and women.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">They do not hold earthly weapons.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">They do not always congregate in companies and legions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">But they do daily storm the gates of Heaven for those that wait,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">the Orphan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">To many of us, the Orphan is a faceless, nameless blur.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">A Concept.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">An Abstract Idea.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And then sometimes, Someone,\u00a0a Face, will cross their paths and suddenly that Warrior Heart rises up and we can do nothing but rally and plead for that One.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">That Orphan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">That Child.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">These warriors sometimes are seen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And sometimes they are\u00a0not.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Sometimes they share their passion with others and let them know that the need is great.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And sometimes they quietly interceed for that Child.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Until Heaven moves.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And that child\u00a0waits no more.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>My son abandoned.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Placed.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">At the gates of a rural civil affairs office.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And then the care of a Foster Grandmother.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">After 18 months, the Director found a new place for him.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">A <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.newdaycreations.com\/foster\/\">New Day\u00a0<\/a><\/em>had come.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium was posted online.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And many of those same Warriors began to rise up.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Across an ocean Hearts of a Family\u00a0began to be stirred.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And another Battle was won.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Our Son would wait no more.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: on Orphan Sunday, I ask that you consider the ideas to help that I posted above.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">But perhaps more so, I ask you to rise up alongside these quiet Warriors.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Join them and fight.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Plead.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Pray.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Trust.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>But do not forget.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter center;\"><strong>Until the One who waits,<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>becomes None.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Once our eyes are opened, we can not pretend we do not know what to do.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">God, who weighs our hearts and keeps our souls, knows that we know, and holds us responsible to act.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color:
