{"id":634,"date":"2010-08-10T16:30:15","date_gmt":"2010-08-10T23:30:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.learningtogetherathome.com\/?p=634"},"modified":"2010-08-10T16:30:15","modified_gmt":"2010-08-10T23:30:15","slug":"well-he-finally-managed-to-have-it-done","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.learningtogetherathome.com\/?p=634","title":{"rendered":"Well, he finally managed to have it done&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Do you remember <a title=\"Garnet's hair cut\" href=\"http:\/\/www.learningtogetherathome.com\/?p=590\">this post<\/a>\u00a0from a couple of weeks ago?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Well, he managed to get it <em>all<\/em> shaved.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And <em>I<\/em> was the one who finally did it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.learningtogetherathome.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/022.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-635\" title=\"022\" src=\"http:\/\/www.learningtogetherathome.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/022-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.learningtogetherathome.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/022-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/www.learningtogetherathome.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/022-768x1024.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0We decided to\u00a0have our naturopath do\u00a0a full\u00a0assessment and this required a 1 ounce hair sample.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Unfortunately when his assistant looked at Garnet&#8217;s short buzz, she declared it too short for a little snip.\u00a0 Instead it would require another <em>ahem<\/em> more severe buzz cut.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And I got to do the honours.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">After making short work of his hair, we ducked into the next door barber shop (<em>convenient<\/em> don&#8217;t you think?!) in order to have my <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">hack job <\/span>hair cut evened out a bit.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Stephen came home and after a few minutes of assessing the situation, he took it down even farther.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">He was smooth as a billard ball.\u00a0 <em>Truly.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And now he is growing it out.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">His impression of the whole experience?\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Well, upon climbing into Grandma&#8217;s truck (I&#8217;m still not driving but I&#8217;ll save that for another day), he looked put out.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I\u00a0asked him\u00a0about it and he asked me why\u00a0it<em> still\u00a0<\/em>didn&#8217;t look like Uncle S&#8217;s head?\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And that&#8217;s when I realized that he has black hair and S. has blonde hair.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">It starts so young.\u00a0 Our desire to appear different or more like our idols.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The candy he received from the barber seemed to help heal his damaged spirits though.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Quite the charming little <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">monk<\/span>\u00a0 monkey though, isn&#8217;t he?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.learningtogetherathome.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/020.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-636\" title=\"020\" src=\"http:\/\/www.learningtogetherathome.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/020-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.learningtogetherathome.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/020-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/www.learningtogetherathome.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/020-768x1024.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Good thing we adore him so much!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0 Do you remember this post\u00a0from a couple of weeks ago?
