We had to try the In and Out Burgers our friend raved about...<\/p><\/div>\n

A different sort of coastline. Almost to Mexico!<\/p><\/div>\n

Trust me. The actual tent is much larger than the ground sheet. It almost touched the picnic table on this end!<\/p><\/div>\n

Or perhaps it should be called the “Land of a Thousand Coin Operated Laundromats”.<\/p>\n

After a bit of shopping, we drove on to a new location from our week of fun\u00a0with the Mouse.\u00a0 We passed many surf camps along the way and really enjoyed the drive along the ocean.\u00a0 Once we arrived at our campsite we had a good, sort of wry, laugh over the size of our tent versus the size of the pad.\u00a0 Let’s just say that we\u00a0were very<\/em> cozy with the nice family the next site over.\u00a0 Their oldest boy was a really nice kid and we had a good chat over the laundry machines the next day.<\/p>\n

Speaking of laundry, I have a funny memory of\u00a0driving around\u00a0the city looking for a laundromat.\u00a0 The camp’s had closed for the night and we were in need of some unmentionables, so we drove around and around looking for a laundromat that had drop off service.\u00a0 We were hungry and really all just\u00a0wanted to get some sleep.\u00a0 After asking and using the GPS we came up empty, so\u00a0after much debate we ended up eating at a greasy, dirty pizza reaturant \/ arcade that showed graphic\u00a0TV over top of children’s birthday party tables. Nice.\u00a0 Littlest Miss was quite transfixed by the TVs and so we spent the meal trying to\u00a0distract her.\u00a0 Not easy when she was\u00a0almost asleep with her eyes open.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Ahhh these are the moments that make us shake our heads at the wisdom of such a trip.\u00a0 But\u00a0onward we went. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
