Progressively it has been getting easier and easier each year to hold to our educational path and stress less over checklists and envy over others&#8217; experiences. \u00a0I asked the kids at supper to rate how they felt today went and how they thought the year ahead would be. \u00a0It was overwhelmingly positive. \u00a0I think that speaks for itself.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, I forgot to snap some first day photos. \u00a0Can&#8217;t win &#8217;em all. \u00a0There&#8217;ll be time for first <em>week<\/em> photos yet, I&#8217;m sure. \u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I was pretty pleased with how today went. \u00a0That&#8217;s not the case every year, but I have been becoming more and more convinced of what our kids need to know versus what I thought they should know. \u00a0This is so important when speaking of the education of asynchronous learners.
