{"id":1728,"date":"2011-06-12T21:45:24","date_gmt":"2011-06-13T04:45:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.learningtogetherathome.com\/?p=1728"},"modified":"2011-06-12T21:45:24","modified_gmt":"2011-06-13T04:45:24","slug":"this-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.learningtogetherathome.com\/?p=1728","title":{"rendered":"This week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This week we&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Get to visit Shriners\u00a03 times.<\/p>\n<p>Get Samuel fitted for his new &#8220;boots&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Get his new &#8220;Superman&#8221; fabric fiberglassed on those same &#8220;boots&#8221;&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Get to meet up with Carrie (formerly of New Day) and her new little sweetie, Cora and some very blessed new parents\u00a0to one of New Day&#8217;s little sweethearts.<\/p>\n<p>Get to hang out with my entire family in the in\u00a0between times.<\/p>\n<p>Sounds like a good week to me!<\/p>\n<p>Please be praying along with us for Samuel.\u00a0 We have been told that this first set of prosthetics are important for him to accept, so as to build on for future more complex pairs.\u00a0 Last visit he saw the demos and said, &#8220;Ewwwwww!&#8221;\u00a0 Hopefully all the coaching we&#8217;ve been doing will\u00a0get him into it.\u00a0 He\u00a0was doing the wave in his carseat on the way down when we told him we weren&#8217;t going to be getting needles (he always asks if a needle will be given at the doctor&#8217;s office), but instead that it was time for his new &#8220;boots&#8221;.\u00a0 haha<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This week we&#8230; Get to visit Shriners\u00a03 times.
