<\/a><\/p>\n10 days ago we received\u00a0our son\u00a0Garnet’s allergy test results.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
He was diagnosed\u00a0with cat allergies.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Prescription: “Remove Cats”.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
It was o.n.e. m.o.r.e.\u00a0t.h.i.n.g.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
I was in\u00a0tears.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
God spoke through someone close to me.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
“Ask me\u00a0for\u00a0healing.”<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
I called a friend, who is known for her involvement in\u00a0a local healing ministry.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
I told her, “I want to believe.\u00a0 I know he heals.\u00a0 But for me?\u00a0 For my children?\u00a0 There was a time when he did not heal me.”<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
She replied, “Come to my home tomorrow.\u00a0 I am training my new volunteers.\u00a0 You can observe.”<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
And miraculously our usually\u00a0hectic weekend schedule…<\/p>\n
was wide open!<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
“Okay”, I told her.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Perhaps even more miraculous?<\/p>\n
Stephen wanted to\u00a0come too.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
We needed God’s renewal.<\/p>\n
A fresh wave of His Spirit in our home.<\/p>\n
We observed.<\/p>\n
We chatted.<\/p>\n
We dined.<\/p>\n
And then it was time\u00a0to go.<\/p>\n
“Let us pray for you before\u00a0you\u00a0leave”, said our friends.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
They prayed.<\/p>\n
The Holy Spirit was very much felt by us.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Burdens were lifted.<\/p>\n
Hearts encouraged.<\/p>\n
We went home.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
We peeked at our son’s skin.,<\/p>\n
usually covered with eczema.<\/p>\n
It was the same,<\/p>\n
but we held onto hope.\u00a0<\/p>\n
We had asked Him for healing.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The next morning.<\/p>\n
I looked again.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
His skin,<\/p>\n
IT WAS CLEAR!<\/h1>\n
I ran my hands over his arms,<\/p>\n
his legs.<\/p>\n
NOTHING.<\/p>\n
Absolutely no Eczema.<\/p>\n
I watched him this week.<\/p>\n
No cortizone creams.<\/p>\n
No allergy medicine.<\/p>\n
He hugged our cats.<\/p>\n
In shorts.<\/p>\n
With a bare tummy.<\/p>\n
The eczema that he had had since\u00a0the day we met him in China<\/p>\n
was gone.<\/p>\n
It’s stayed gone.<\/p>\n
It’s never before stayed away for\u00a0this long.<\/p>\n
\u00a0The tip of the iceberg?<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
I wonder.<\/p>\n
