{"id":1085,"date":"2010-10-21T20:53:14","date_gmt":"2010-10-22T03:53:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.learningtogetherathome.com\/?p=1085"},"modified":"2010-10-21T20:53:14","modified_gmt":"2010-10-22T03:53:14","slug":"woooohooooo-otherwise-know-as-d-t-c","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.learningtogetherathome.com\/?p=1085","title":{"rendered":"Woooohooooo (Otherwise know as D-T-C!)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Update on our Dossier situation&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">LOVE our facilitator.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Our dossier to China deadline is October 29th.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">We were delayed a week from what I had calculated\u00a0(due to the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.learningtogetherathome.com\/?p=923\">wind being knocked out of us<\/a>) \u00a0and I was told we&#8217;d need that extension from the CCAA *for sure*, to buy us a week.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Talked to our facilitator today and he not only,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">picked up our Dossier from the Chinese Consulate on Monday,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">he also couriered it to our Ministry here in BC the same day!<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Our dossier should already be en route to China or even there!\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">&lt;BIG HUGE HAPPY GRIN&gt;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Woohoooooo!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">They will\u00a0contact\u00a0the CCAA on Monday to check and we should know for sure then.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Now I&#8217;m really starting to get excited!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">We set out our care package \/ Introducing Your\u00a0New Family box to New Day and it is in China now.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Once it gets delivered, we will begin our weekly Skype sessions with Samuel.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">We are due to &#8220;meet&#8221; him the first Sunday evening after he &#8220;meets&#8221; us in photos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Lots of nerves and excitement over that one.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/onegirlpeacefulandsafe.blogspot.com\/\">Andrea<\/a>, Mama to Emma Lael from ND, has given me some great ideas though.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">He&#8217;ll apparently know a few English preschool songs and she suggested playdough, bubbles, a tea party and things like that.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I&#8217;m so\u00a0grateful for\u00a0her tips.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Lots going on and every day that goes by I am more and more sure that the best place for Samuel is here.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">It&#8217;s funny, becasue each of my kids has grown in my heart.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Some grew there in an instant.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Some grew there slowly.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Both ways has resulted in roots that are so deeply planted in my heart that they could not be removed.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">N.o.t. E.v.e.r.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Because if anyone ever tried, it would pull my heart into a million pieces, and each piece would only love them more deeply.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">They are my children.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">All five of them.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And I love them.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Update on our Dossier situation&#8230; LOVE our facilitator.
